Like many other companies, toll mill Netzsch Lohnmahltechnik faces a variety of quality management challenges. The pilot plant is used for the development of new products and for the production of small quantities, while large quantities are ground in production.
Paper-based quality assurance processes and manual data collection led to inefficiencies and the risk of errors. In addition, material traceability was difficult and did not always meet customer requirements.
